Registration-free security fingerprint authentication method and system based on local features

Abstract

A registration-free security fingerprint authentication method based on local structure, includes steps: extracting fingerprint minutiae points descriptor features and minutiae points local structure features from input fingerprint images; quantifying fingerprint minutiae points and selecting features; encrypting and decrypting the selected features to obtain fingerprint images. The method authenticates fingerprints using local features to avoid a complex encryption domain registration step, thereby the risk of attacks on fingerprint authentication is reduced and the security is improved.
一种基于局部结构的免配准安全指纹认证方法,包括步骤:从输入指纹图像中提取指纹细节点描述子特征和细节点局部结构特征;量化指纹细节点并选取特征;对选取的特征进行加密和解密获得指纹图像。该方法采用局部特征认证指纹以避免复杂的加密域配准步骤,从而降低了指纹认证受攻击的风险并提高了安全性。
